Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"First off, Ms. Veronica and her staff are incredibly welcoming. On top of that, she makes the best oxtail with rice and peas. I’m of Caribbean descent (Antigua & Jamaica), and I’ve never had Caribbean food this good until today. I’ll definitely be coming back—10/10!"
"I’m came allll the waaay from Boston just to try there Oxtail with rice and peas n a hot beef patty n let me tell ya’ll, THEY NEVER DISAPPOINT. The staff, especially the lovely ladies at the front, were super welcoming and made me feel like a yaadie. The ambiance was decent, but what really stole the show was the decor - the Jamaican vibes as u step in a pure reggae music throughout the place! Can't wait to come back and try some of the breakfast foods caz jesas….(mi affi a hide a deh lick off mi finga) but yeah Chef kiss Highly recommend for a taste of island flavor!""
"I've been going to this restaurant for more than two years now. I am a critic and observer when it comes to customer service. It is definitely my go to spot for any Jamaican food. I have watched customer service improve,. I like the serious attitude the boss takes towards customer service. And the speed. They try very hard to get their customers in and out. I orderered nox tail with rice and a few beef patties. I was pleased with the portion and the taste. Keep up the good work."
"Fried chicken was delicious. Beautiful ladies upfront. Very welcoming and always with good energy . Thank you."
"Excellent food. Generous portions, even for a small-sized dinner. Didn't have to wait long at all for service or for your order to. Staff was super friendly. Please, please, please keep up with the good work!"
"Service was excellent, and portions were generous. Loved the jerk pork and stew peas! It’s always a must go to place for me when I’m in town. If you’re looking for authentic Jamaican food, you won’t be disappointed!"
"Went today first time very nice service, eats made on time the food is the best part seasoned to perfection the macaroni was buss"
"I've only had their beef patties up until today. I ordered the oxtail, curried and stewed chicken for me and my family. All of the food was absolutely fantastic. The food tasted clean and fresh. All of the meat was tender and very flavorful and the beef patties were fresh out of the oven. My whole family loved the food. They were not rude like their competitors across the street. (That makes a difference weather I patronize or not) I would percent recommend this restaurant"
